Two engines, rebalanced daily. 1) Growth engine rides tech via TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100) when the market trends up. 2) Safety/diversifier engine flips to managed‑futures (KMLM/DBMF) or hedges. It uses a 200‑day trend, short‑term RSI (0–100 heat gauge), and VIX signals (UVXY/UVIX track the “fear gauge”). If things look hot/weak, it moves to volatility, inverse tech (PSQ/SQQQ), BTAL, or bonds.
Aggressive, rules‑based portfolio that sprints with leveraged tech in uptrends and quickly shifts to volatility, inverse tech, or managed‑futures when risks spike. Heavy tech/semis tilt; many short‑term signals; daily rebalance; very high risk and turnover.
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers far higher upside vs the S&P: ~125% annualized return vs ~25%; Sharpe ~1.77; Calmar ~4.97; positive alpha, driven by leveraged tech in uptrends and diversified hedges; accepts higher drawdowns for big upside.
