Buys 3x Nasdaq‑100 only after sharp 5‑day drops (unless it already bounced >5% that day). Otherwise parks in short‑term bonds. Aims to catch rebounds. Note: a 3x ETF magnifies both gains and losses.

Every day: If QQQ (tracks the Nasdaq‑100: big tech like Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet/Google, Meta, Amazon, Tesla) has dropped more than 5% over the last 5 trading days, check TQQQ (a 3x version of QQQ). If TQQQ is up over 5% today, stay in BSV (short‑term US bonds). Otherwise buy TQQQ. If QQQ hasn’t fallen that much, stay in BSV.
Buys 3x Nasdaq‑100 only after sharp 5‑day drops (unless it already bounced >5% that day). Otherwise parks in short‑term bonds. Aims to catch rebounds. Note: a 3x ETF magnifies both gains and losses.
Out-of-sample edge: 25.8% annualized vs SPY 14.7%, higher risk-adjusted return (Sharpe ~1.01 vs ~0.62) and Calmar ~1.14. Tactical dip-buying with bond ballast targets Nasdaq‑100 upside while preserving downside resilience.
When I dip, you zip, we zip. This symphony capitalizes on performance dips in QQQ, a fund that tracks the Nasdaq-100 index, by buying a leveraged version of the fund. If the fund isn’t dipping or is coming out of a dip, the strategy invests in short-term US government bonds to minimize risk. This symphony was developed by Composer. By choosing to trade this strategy, you understand that the strategy employs ETFs, and that you understand the associated risks of trading, holding, and costs associated with ETFs, and also leveraged ETFs. Before investing in ANY strategy containing an ETF, please review the relevant ETF prospectus.
