A rules-based, multi-asset portfolio that rides stock market uptrends (S&P 500, tech, international) with modest, controlled leverage, and quickly de-risks to cash, staples, bonds, gold, the dollar, or volatility hedges when stress rises. Includes a steady managed-futures sleeve.

- In calm uptrends, it owns growth engines: US stocks (S&P 500), big tech, and some international stocks—often via NTSX (a mild stock+bond blend).
- If stress appears (falling trends, fear spikes, sharp drops), it shifts to T‑bills, staples, bonds, gold, the US dollar, or volatility hedges.
- A small sleeve in managed futures runs all the time for diversification.

Out-of-sample: ~36% annualized return vs ~22% for S&P, with Calmar ~1.82 and Sharpe ~1.38. Diversified core plus managed futures hedges aim for bigger upside with controlled risk.
Intent: Grow during growth periods with limited leverage, and to not drop during contractions. Works with 5 groups, each using limited # of tickers to prevent small % ownerships. 3 "Simple paths" for NTSX (Sp500+bnds), XLK (tech), and VEA (INTL), One logic based symphony, and one group focused on managed futures (DBMF, KMLM, and/or CTA). Ultimately, symphony is primarily SP500 based, but diversifies with some international stocks, bonds, and managed futures to improve risk adjusted returns.
