A rules-based Dragon Portfolio spin: balances stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/US dollar, trend, and a crash hedge. Buys strength in calm uptrends, buys dips selectively, and shifts to hedges or shorts when trends weaken or markets overheat.

The text the rules are quoted from, with where it came from.
It splits money into five sleeves so something can work in most markets: growth stocks, long Treasuries, “fiat alternatives” (gold/commodities/US dollar), trend‑followers, and a crash hedge.
Signals:
- Trend: price vs its moving average (above=uptrend).
- RSI: a 0–100 “heat” score (high=too hot, low=washed out).
Calm uptrends: lean into stocks (sometimes 3x tech/semis).
Overheated or weak: rotate to gold, USD, bonds, or a volatility hedge (UVXY) and, at times, shorts. Within each sleeve it picks recent winners.
A rules-based Dragon Portfolio spin: balances stocks, Treasuries, gold/commodities/US dollar, trend, and a crash hedge. Buys strength in calm uptrends, buys dips selectively, and shifts to hedges or shorts when trends weaken or markets overheat.
Out-of-sample edge: this Dragon Portfolio beats the S&P 500 on risk-adjusted terms, delivering ~27.0% annualized return vs 21.7%, with lower max drawdown (15.6% vs 18.8%) and Sharpe ≈ 1.50 vs 1.40—stronger, steadier growth across regimes.
The serpent represents times of growth and stability, the hawk times of change and volatility. And what do you get when you combine a serpent and a hawk? A dragon. This symphony is based on the Artemis Dragon Portfolio, which seeks to perform well both in times of growth and decline by balancing five high-level asset classes. We took some creative license in the implementation of this strategy to leverage the power of Composer and improve on the static ETF approaches currently available to retail investors. The symphony includes the #DEMAMO and #COMMO symphonies. This symphony was inspired by the Artemis Dragon Portfolio and developed by Composer. By choosing to trade this strategy, you understand that the strategy employs ETFs, and that you understand the associated risks of trading, holding, and costs associated with ETFs, and also leveraged ETFs. Before investing in ANY strategy containing an ETF, please review the relevant ETF prospectus.
