Description from Composer
of the return and risk figures:as the source publishes them
What $10,000 would have become, from the strategy's own published history, against the S&P 500 over the same dates. The basis is labelled.
This strategy doesn’t publish a performance history we can chart.
Each rule is quoted word for word from the strategy's own documents.

Each day it holds one fund: NUGT (2x bet on gold-miner stocks rising), DUST (2x bet on them falling), or BIL (T-bills = cash). If NUGT’s 10-day RSI (a speedometer of recent gains vs losses) is very high, switch to DUST; if very low, buy NUGT. Otherwise it checks the backdrop: if tech (QQQ, signal only) is improving and miners’ last 5 days were positive, buy NUGT; if not, hold BIL. If tech isn’t improving and bonds (TLT, signal) lag tech, use DUST; else BIL.

Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe ~1.59, Calmar ~4.33, plus 2x gold-miner exposure with cash. Strong risk-adjusted upside versus the S&P in the tested window, though drawdowns can be larger in volatile regimes.
