Ride Nasdaq‑100 uptrends with 3x leverage (TQQQ), but switch to SQQQ, UVXY, or TLT when markets overheat, drop fast, or turn volatile. Uses a long‑term trend line and a simple 0‑100 “hot/cold” gauge to time moves.

Each day it checks the market trend (SPY vs its 200‑day average). In uptrends, it mostly holds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100). If things look too “hot” (RSI, a 0‑100 heat gauge) or after sharp drops, it may switch to SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq), briefly hold UVXY (rises with fear), or hide in TLT (long U.S. Treasuries). In downtrends, it stays defensive, buying TQQQ only on extreme selloffs.

3x Nasdaq tilt with tactical hedges (SQQQ/UVXY/TLT) via a trend/volatility system. Out-of-sample: ~69.7% annual return, Sharpe ~1.20, Calmar ~1.37; potentially stronger upside than the S&P 500 while applying risk controls for drawdowns.
Made by /u/derecknielsen & V4 is modified by Garen Phillips, Pietros Maneos and Raekon. Pietros Maneos was hesitant to use single stocks, so he amended the Better QQQ with LETFs. Raekon analyzed the logic in depth and modified some of the ETF logic and simplified the ETF choices in order to boost gains while simultaneously lowering the number of assets and trading days, which will give even better tax adjusted returns.
