The Russell 1000 Industrials portfolio offers direct exposure to companies at the heart of manufacturing, construction, transportation, and business support services within the Russell 1000® Index. Instead of buying a fund, this portfolio uses a direct indexing approach, which means you own the actual underlying stocks that make up the industrials segment of the index. These holdings span large and mid-sized businesses that serve as essential building blocks of the broader economy, producing goods and delivering critical industrial services. A disciplined, index-driven structure guides the portfolio with the goal of closely tracking the composition and performance of its benchmark.

The Interactive Advisors FTSE Russell Index Tracking Portfolios are designed to follow certain predefined rules so that the portfolio can track a specified basket of underlying investments, which corresponds to the reference index. These portfolios aim to track the performance of the underlying basket (index), and typically represent a form of passive investing. Interactive Advisors constructs and manages these portfolios based on data provided pursuant to licensing agreements with FTSE International Limited ("FTSE") and the Frank Russell Company ("Russell"). The goal of these portfolios is to allow investors to track the performance of certain specified portions of the US Stock market as represented by the reference index.
Capital growth plus with a more complex portfolio or higher risk profile than broad equity markets. Investing in equities and concentrated portfolios and prepared to accept fluctuation in portfolio value.
Sector enthusiasts: This portfolio is designed for investors who want dedicated exposure to the industrials sector, spanning companies involved in capital goods, manufacturing, and business support services. Index-focused investors: Well-suited for those who prefer a passive, benchmark-tracking approach that aims to mirror a recognized index rather than relying on active stock selection decisions. Transparency seekers: A strong fit for investors who value knowing exactly what they own, since each position in this portfolio is an individual stock you directly hold rather than a share in a pooled fund.
Allocation discipline: The portfolio holds long positions in U.S. industrials equities that belong to the Russell 1000® Index. It rebalances on a quarterly schedule to reflect any changes in index composition and maintain consistent sector representation across its holdings. Sell discipline: Sell decisions are driven entirely by the quarterly rebalance and reconstitution of the Russell 1000® Industrials Index. When the Frank Russell Company updates the index composition, the portfolio adjusts its holdings accordingly, removing stocks that no longer qualify and adding those that newly meet the index criteria.
Direct asset control: You own each individual stock in this portfolio rather than shares of a fund, giving you full visibility into every holding and greater control over your investments. Targeted sector access: This portfolio applies a structured indexing methodology to track the industrials segment of the Russell 1000® Index, capturing companies that span capital goods production, transportation, and essential business services. Disciplined quarterly rebalancing: Holdings are reviewed and adjusted each quarter in step with index updates, helping ensure your portfolio accurately reflects the current makeup of the industrials sector.
