Holds QQQ most of the time, using the S&P 500’s trend and an “oversold” check to decide. Only shifts to SHY when both long‑ and short‑term market signals are weak and QQQ isn’t deeply oversold. Rebalanced daily.

Each day it checks the S&P 500 (SPY). If its ~1‑month average price is above its ~10‑month average, it owns QQQ (a fund of big tech/mega‑cap growth). If not, but QQQ looks very “washed‑out” (RSI, a 0–100 gauge of recent weakness/strength, is under 30), it still owns QQQ. If neither, but SPY is above its ~1‑month average, it owns QQQ. Otherwise it parks in SHY (short‑term US Treasuries).
Holds QQQ most of the time, using the S&P 500’s trend and an “oversold” check to decide. Only shifts to SHY when both long‑ and short‑term market signals are weak and QQQ isn’t deeply oversold. Rebalanced daily.
Out-of-sample: ~32% annualized return vs ~23% SPY; Sharpe ~1.49 vs ~1.43; Calmar ~1.65. Max drawdown ~19.3% vs ~18.8%. In uptrends it stays in QQQ; in downturns it shifts to SHY to defend, boosting risk-adjusted upside.
