A tactical, high‑octane plan that’s usually long SOXL (3x semiconductors). It gauges trend (TQQQ vs 200‑day) and “heat” (RSI). If overheated, it hides in VXX (volatility). In downtrends it may flip to SQQQ (short Nasdaq) or BSV (short‑term bonds).

Uses TQQQ vs its 200‑day average to decide trend. In uptrends it holds SOXL (3x semiconductors) unless many market ETFs look overheated by RSI (0–100 speed‑of‑move; high=overheated). Then it switches to VXX (tracks volatility). In downtrends, if markets are washed‑out (very low RSI) it still buys SOXL; if weak under the 20‑day, it picks the stronger of SQQQ (−3x short Nasdaq) or BSV (short‑term bonds). Rebalances daily.

Out-of-sample edge: ~144% annualized return vs ~19% for the S&P, with Calmar ~2.26 - strong risk-adjusted upside. Drawdowns can be large (~64%), but trend signals and volatility hedges help protect in downturns.
