Daily, it compares Beyond Meat vs Raytheon momentum to gauge risk-on/off. Then it checks how hard semiconductors have just fallen. It goes 3× long chips (SOXL), 3× short chips (SOXS), or sits in the U.S. dollar (UUP). Aggressive and concentrated.
Description from Composer
of the return and risk figures:as the source publishes them
What $10,000 would have become, from the strategy's own published history, against the S&P 500 over the same dates. The basis is labelled.
This strategy doesn’t publish a performance history we can chart.
Each rule is quoted word for word from the strategy's own documents.
No rules extracted from this strategy’s text yet.
2 positions as of 2026-10-11
: the platform's backtest holdings, not a client account.
Compares the stated rules with the holdings (or, where none are published, a mix estimated from returns), using tests fixed before any results were seen.

Each day the strategy checks two things:
1) Risk vibe: Is Beyond Meat (BYND, a speculative stock) showing stronger recent gains than Raytheon/RTX (RTX, a defense stock)? If yes, it prefers betting on chip stocks to rise; if no, it prefers betting against them.
2) Chip-sector health (using SMH to measure drops): If pain looks to be easing, it uses SOXL (3× long). If pain is worsening, it uses SOXS (3× short). If neither condition is met, it parks in UUP (long U.S. dollar).
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~88.6%, Sharpe ~1.44, Calmar ~2.47, max drawdown ~35.84%. A daily risk-on/off semis momentum strategy aims for higher upside vs the S&P 500 with disciplined risk control.
Here we take signals from Beyond Meat & Ratheon to guide wether we are long or short semiconductors. Yep... that's happening.
