First, it checks trend: if SPY is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), it holds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq) unless short‑term momentum looks too “hot” (10‑day RSI ~≥80); then it switches to UVXY (volatility).
If SPY is below that average (downtrend), it buys rebounds on deep “oversold” readings (TQQQ<31→TECL; SPY<30→SPXL). Otherwise: if UVXY’s RSI is high, hold UVXY; if TQQQ is above its 20‑day average, hold TQQQ; else pick the stronger of SQQQ (3x inverse Nasdaq) or BSV (short‑term bonds).
RSI gauges recent speed (0–100).

Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted returns vs the S&P: Sharpe 1.26 vs 1.13, Calmar 1.57, and annualized return ~80% vs ~18%. Tech-leaning with dynamic hedges; note higher drawdowns in bear markets.
