Rules-based, tech‑heavy swing strategy using leveraged ETFs. It rides Nasdaq uptrends with TQQQ plus a cash buffer, and switches to SQQQ, Treasuries, or volatility when markets look stretched or shaky, guided by simple “hot/cold” and trend checks.

First, it checks if the market is in an uptrend (S&P 500 above its 200‑day avg).
- Uptrend: mostly 66% TQQQ (3x Nasdaq‑100: big tech) + 34% BIL (T‑bills). If the Nasdaq looks overheated (RSI = a 0–100 “hot/cold” score) or after sharp drops, it briefly flips to SQQQ (3x inverse) or VXX (volatility).
- Downtrend: gets defensive, rotating among SQQQ, TLT (long Treasuries), VXX, or buys TQQQ only when very oversold. Signals use RSI, recent % moves, and moving averages.

Outperforms SPY in out-of-sample results: 31.4% annualized return vs 18.5% for the S&P, by leveraging Nasdaq-100 with a cash buffer. Dynamic hedges (SQQQ, VXX, TLT) target higher growth with downside protection.
Made by /u/derecknielsen & V4 is modified by Garen Phillips, Pietros Maneos and Raekon. Pietros Maneos was hesitant to use single stocks, so he amended the Better QQQ with LETFs. Raekon analyzed the logic in depth and modified some of the ETF logic and simplified the ETF choices in order to boost gains while simultaneously lowering the number of assets and trading days, which will give even better tax adjusted returns. This edition updated by okhi2u to be a 2x edition only.
